Hmmmm... as director of Kids on the Net, I thought I should throw together a quick home page to stick on the net.... But what to say??

I was born and raised in Iqaluit, Nunavut. It is the capital of the new territory, and yes,
it DOES get very cold here in winter! : )

I'm a 3rd Year B.Sc (Hon) Physics and Music student at Queen's University in Kingston, ON. I love Physics, although I always get funny faces from people when I tell them my major... however, I aspire to be a rocket scientist or an astronaut, or have some sort of career in space sciences.
I love music and a I play a few instruments as well as sing.

I am THE biggest Dave Matthews Band fan in the world! I have everything they have ever recorded and went their concert back in November '98! It was amazing! 7th row seats on the floor... it was SO fantastic! If you ever have the chance to go to a Dave Matthews concert, I would definitely encourage you to go!

I love to travel and have plans to go to India when I graduate from Queen's, and also travel to Tibet when I work up the courage (and the funding) to go! I do photography in my spare time for the Tricolour Yearbook at Queen's, and I would very much like to go to Tibet to do some photography - if they let me!

I have been with Kids on the Net since it's birth in 1997, and I'm having a great time! Science and technology is the coolest dtuff to teach children and I love reaching kids across the territory and getting them excited about science! I hope to be sticking around with Kids on the Net for a while - it's too much fun to give up!

This is a picture of some ofour kids and astronuats from the last space shuttle mission to the international space station. They came to Iqaluit for Nunavut Day, and hung out with some of the Kids on the Net campers.

That's me... what a goof! :)
