Text:  1 Thessaonians 5: 6-11

Introduction

The Lord is wanting us to understand that we are children of the day, His people, people that live by the word of God, the truth.
He has not appointed us unto death but unto life.  There is no condemnation towards us from the Lord, he has nothing but love and acceptance for us.  We are instructed in the Bible from this passage that there is going to be a day when God's wrath will be poured out upon all those who would not obey the truth, but that He has made a way of escape for His people by way of the Rapture.

There are conditions for escape and if we heed them (pay attention) we will live forevr with Him in His presence.

1. Let us not sleep

2. Watch                   

3. Live Righteously

4. Faith and Love

Conclusion

Fight the good fight of Faith lay hold on eternal life

Run the race in such a way that you may obtain the prize.
